Description: Perennials. Stolons few to many, short, slender. Stems erect. Leaves densely crowded, usually overlapping, sessile; leafblades 3-6 x 1,5-3,5 mm, ovate to ovate lanceolate, apex acute with an incurved cartilaginous apex, margin strongly ciliate and cartilaginous, vein 1 and distinct. Flowers solitary, terminal, sessile. Calyx 10-14 mm, winged with very narrowly wings on angles; tube somewhat funnelform; lobes 2-4 mm, lanceolate, apex acuminate. Corolla 20-35 mm; lobes spreading, 8-10 x 3-5 mm, ovate to oblong, apex obtuse, margin erose, base narrowed; plicae 1,5-2,5 mm, 2-cleft
